Further to the UBC Broadcast issued last month, the first round of elections for the 2026-2029 triennium is currently underway with opportunities for you to participate.
We previously invited nominations for representatives for the UBC Board of Governors, as well as the Vancouver and Okanagan Senates. Thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination. We are now opening voting for the Board of Governors positions, as well as putting an additional call out for nominations for the Vancouver and Okanagan Senates.
UBC Board of Governors
Polls are now open for staff and faculty to cast votes in the elections for positions on the UBC Board of Governors. Candidate information and voting instructions are available online. The deadline for voting is 4pm on Thursday, November 27.
UBC Senates
Nominations are still open for representatives of the Joint Faculties (faculty members-at-large) for the Vancouver and Okanagan Senates. For nomination forms and information about eligibility, visit the Triennial Elections website. You are invited to submit your nominations before 4pm on Thursday, November 27.
Subsequent elections will be held for faculty-specific and other positions on the UBC Senates.
