As a result of the call for nominations issued last week, I am pleased to announce that we have received many nominations for faculty and for management and professional staff to serve on the Presidential Search Committee. Nominations for those positions are now closed.
Regretfully, no unionized staff members from either campus of UBC submitted nominations; therefore, I am extending the period for nominations FOR UNIONIZED STAFF POSITIONS ONLY until Wednesday 14 October 2015 at 12 noon. Please note that this will be the only extension made; if no candidates are nominated by the extended deadline, the Search Committee will proceed with fewer members.
