I am pleased to announce the launch of Letter from Santa, a regular communication to members of the UBC community.
In this newsletter, I will touch upon what I’ve been doing as president, as well as celebrating UBC milestones and accomplishments. I will be publishing the newsletter about once every two months to my website at https://president.ubc.ca/communications/letter-to-the-community/.
In this first issue, I take a look back at the recent Graduation ceremonies, some research funding successes, athletics accomplishments, a visit from the President of Ethiopia, and Congress 2019, among other stories. I also say farewell to Jeff Todd and Barbara Meens Thistle and say hello to my new Blue and Goldcast co-host, Professor Margot Young.
