Giving back to society by supporting the United Way is a cause that is close to our hearts. The annual UBC United Way campaign is a chance to come together and make a difference within our local communities. We’re pleased to announce that the UBC United Way campaign officially launches on October 6 in Vancouver and the Okanagan.
As we reflect on the varying and changing needs of our communities, we recognize that not all stories are the same. United Way of British Columbia, working with communities in BC’s Interior, Lower Mainland, Central & Northern Vancouver Island, is tailoring its support and services to make a meaningful impact across the province.
On Wednesday, you will receive an email from pledge@unitedway.ubc.ca inviting you to make a payroll pledge online — we encourage you to show your support and become a donor. Our goal this year is to inspire 1,100 UBC faculty and staff across both campuses to contribute to the campaign.

Thank you in advance for supporting United Way and this year’s campaign. Whether you give your time, energy or financial support, your contribution makes a significant impact.
