Attend a free flu vaccination clinic on campus starting October 26

If you are a manager of staff whose work is not computer-based, please print this email and display it in a common work area for them to review.

Each year, UBC holds a series of flu clinics to help keep our students, faculty and staff well during the winter months.

No matter how healthy you are, anyone can get the flu. Getting the flu vaccine is your best protection against catching and spreading the flu virus.

I invite all of you to consider getting your free flu shot this fall to keep healthy and well.

  • Vancouver campus – Flu clinics for students, faculty and staff are offered between Oct. 26 – Nov.10. For clinic locations and to save the date, visit http://rms.ubc.ca/flu
  • Okanagan campus – Flu clinics for students, faculty and staff are offered on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, in the Admin Building foyer.

For friends of the UBC community not otherwise eligible for the clinics listed above, the Pharmacists Clinic at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences offers free flu shots. More details are available at https://pharmsci.ubc.ca/pharmacists-clinic

The wellbeing of our faculty, staff and students is important to all of us at UBC. To help protect everyone’s health, I encourage you to consider getting a flu shot.
