To: Faculty and staff in Vancouver

You’re invited to participate in UBC’s eighth annual Thrive week, October 31 to November 4.

Thrive is a week dedicated to building and celebrating the positive mental health of UBC faculty, staff, and students.

Visit thrive.ubc.ca to check out over 50 activities and events on campus. Events focus on workplace mental health, stress management and relaxation, respectful workplaces, sexual assault awareness, building resilience, and engaging in healthy physical and nutritional habits.

If you’re unable to attend an event, participate virtually in the #Thrive365 Photo Challenge by sharing the ways you thrive every day: thrive.ubc.ca/join-the-thrive365-photo-challenge/

Thrive offers tools, tips, and resources to help you achieve your wellbeing goals, whether incorporating new skills and actions into your daily life, conquering areas that challenge you, or learning how to assist others.

Thrive is also an important part of a university-wide priority to enhance the wellbeing of our campus communities. Join Professor Santa Ono at the Vancouver Thrive Kick-Off event on October 31, where UBC will become one of the first universities in the world to formally commit to university-wide health and wellbeing by signing the Okanagan Charter.
