Today, September 20, marks United Way Day. The United Way flag will fly on the Vancouver campus to mark the occasion.
The UBC Community United Way campaign launches officially in October, with many opportunities to participate.
I personally support the United Way, and I encourage you to consider becoming a donor. On Tuesday, October 9 (Vancouver) and Wednesday, October 31 (Okanagan), you will receive an email from unitedwayeaccess@uwlm.ca inviting you to make a payroll pledge online.
This year’s goal is to inspire members of our UBC community to become a donor and change lives locally.
