This year’s UBC United Way campaign officially launches on October 7 in Vancouver and the Okanagan, with many opportunities to participate.
As many of you know, I personally support the United Way, and I encourage you to consider getting involved and becoming a donor in this important cause. Next Tuesday, you will receive an email from pledge@unitedway.ubc.ca inviting you to make a payroll pledge online — my goal is to inspire 1,000 people to become United Way donors. Just imagine the impact that 1,000 committed individuals can have to change lives in our local communities.
