Submit nominations for representatives to the Board of Governors and Senates by Nov. 7

As you may remember, last month we issued a call for nominations for representatives to the Board of Governors and the Vancouver and Okanagan Senates for the upcoming 2020 – 2023 triennium. These are important elections for the university with opportunities for faculty and staff to get involved.

UBC Board of Governors

Submit your nominations for available positions on the UBC Board of Governors. Nominations are still open for the following positions:

  • three faculty members (two from UBC Vancouver and one from UBC Okanagan)
  • two staff members (one from UBC Vancouver and one from UBC Okanagan)

UBC Senates

Submit your nominations for available positions on the UBC Senates. Nominations are still open for the following positions:

  • 12 representatives of the Joint Faculties (faculty members-at-large) for the Vancouver Senate
  • 16 representatives of the Joint Faculties (faculty members-at-large) for the Okanagan Senate

Nominations for all Board of Governors and Senate positions will close at 4:00pm on Thursday, November 7.

Subsequent elections will be held throughout this year for faculty-specific and other positions on the UBC Senates.
