UBC’s Indigenous Strategic Plan survey

If you are a manager of staff whose work is not computer-based, please print this email and display it in a common work area for them to review.

UBC is in the final stage of the Indigenous Strategic Plan, with the development of a university-wide action plan.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to come to one of the engagement sessions over the last few weeks. You generated some great ideas which will prove vital in finalizing the plan.

Whether you were able to attend an engagement session or not, we are now asking for your feedback via an online survey. The purpose of this survey is to invite you to share your thoughts regarding the Indigenous Strategic Plan and our vision.

We want to hear about what’s important to you and how you think UBC can become a leading university globally in implementing (i.e. recognizing and respecting) Indigenous peoples’ human rights.

You can access the survey at: https://ubc.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_e9yKSJ4K3Iql7TL

The survey is open to all UBC students, faculty and staff. It is anonymous and will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. The deadline for responses is December 12, 2019.

We welcome participation from everyone, no matter where you see yourself in relation to Indigenous engagement across UBC. You can also view the current draft plan and learn more about the process behind the Indigenous Strategic Plan at https://aboriginal.ubc.ca/indigenous-strategic-plan/.

Thank you for continuing to support this process, and for supporting UBC’s Indigenous Strategic Plan.
