Notice of voting for Presidential Search Committee candidates
Please be advised that an election is occurring for faculty (Okanagan and Vancouver) and staff (Vancouver unionized and all Management & Professional) representatives on the Presidential Search Committee. The Okanagan unionized position has been filled by acclamation.
UBC response to the Honourable Lynn Smith’s fact-finding report
Today UBC released the summary of a report by the Honourable Lynn Smith, which outlines her findings relating to allegations that, following the publication of a blog post by Professor Jennifer Berdahl on August 8, 2015, the Chair of the Board of Governors or individuals in the Sauder School of Business interfered with her academic freedom or violated relevant UBC policies.
